Pilot project becomes success story in Brussels City

After a successful trial period, City of Brussels opts for contraception to tackle pigeon nuisance in the city centre

In the 2019 pilot project, the City of Brussels placed a maize dispenser in the Princess Clementina square to measure and evaluate the effect of the pigeon pill. In one year, the population there dropped by 30% and by July 2020 the population had even halved. These stunning results prove that the method works and provides a sustainable long-term solution to pigeon problems.
